Classical soundtrack for Gran Turismo 5

Gran Turismo 5, the racing masterpiece from Polyphony Digital, will feature a classical soundtrack.

Renowned pianist Lang Lang has recorded the soundtrack and is known for his affinity for new technologies and his constant endeavours to bring classical music to the largest possible audience.

Lang Lang also spoke directly about his involvement with the game: "Gran Turismo is the most exciting racing game in the world and I have been a fan of it for many years," he said.

"I feel honoured to have this opportunity to connect with people who have never been in a concert hall before and show them that classical music is not just a part of history, but is actually very present and relevant today."

The soundtrack includes pieces by Prokofiev , proudly published by Boosey and Hawkes.

Gran Turismo 5 is available for Playstation 3 now.
